Vernon the Dog needs a home
We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. How can you not fall in love with that little sweetie pie face??!! Vernon was found wandering the streets of Weslaco and taken to a high kill shelter where he was very scared & had no clue what was going to happen to him along with the looming fear he would be EU'd as the shelter was full, when a plea was sent out to help. A LHS foster mom saw him and knew she had to get him out & help him begin a new life with endless possibilities.
Vernon is a 2-3 yr. old, 15lb. Terrier? mix who is UTD on all his vaccines, neutered, micro-chipped, current on HW prevention and crate/house trained. Vernon is HW+ and will be treated at the end of November & this is included in his adoption fee. He does great on the leash, fine with other dogs, kids and cats. Vernon is a bit shy at first, but doesn't take long to warm up. He is the sweetest little thing ever!! He can be playful, loves giving doggie kisses, being loved on and is just the best snugglebunny pal ever! Now all he needs is his new FUREVER home...... could that be with you??!!
