Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)
Morris the Cat needs a home
Morris is a neutered male kitten, probably born early May 2017. His sister is Noir His family was born in a boat under someone's deck and they were rescued as feral six-week-olds. They have made huge strides since then.
Morris is the only male left of his litter (there were four boys originally - the rest have been adopted). He is an EXTREMELY tender hearted cat...He has a history of pulling away from affection. Every day (multiple times each day) his foster mom told him "Hisses get Kisses" - and loved on him sooo much that he actually started to like it. He still makes a little pro-forma effort to turn away when picked up, but he quickly turns back and tucks his head under people's chins. He is still learning that it's okay to ask for attention. Unlike his demanding sisters, he won't beg you to pick him up or fly through the air into your arms....he will just slip up quietly and curl next to you, hoping that you'll notice him and invite him closer. Or, if one of the girls is getting cuddled, he'll magically appear in your lap, right out of thin air. You don't even notice he's there, but once he's settled, he won't get down. He really, really wants to find the purr-fect person to trust and get attached to and when that happens, it will be a life-bond. Morris will be happiest if he's adopted into a home with a kind older cat, or with one of his shelter friends.
