Pit Bull Terrier / Staffordshire Bull Terrier (short coat) Dog

Peanut the Dog needs a home

I AM A GOOD BOY!!! I AM!!!!

And fortunately for me, the people who know and love me KNOW that I am a good boy too!!!

Most of the world does not like a little boy like me. They think that I am scary. But all I want to do is have someone to love, have them love me back, and play and play and play. What is so scary about that???

I am an incredibly happy boy and have been told I am really funny. I absolutely LOVE to give kisses. My kisses are so powerful I can even change your hairdo with them :)

I do have more energy than a "couch potato" dog, but that is just because I know how much more fun it is to get out there and run instead of watching someone run on tv. Am I right? Exercise is good for everyone and when you have great muscles like I do, you have to make sure to stay in shape. So I need a home that will help me keep up a good exercise routine, but I am flexible as to what that is. I can go running with you. We can play fetch. I am really good at fetch. Or you could teach me how to run alongside you while you ride a bicycle. Lets just get out there and do something together!!!!

I have been staying with the Scout's Honor trainer since she has more room for me to run around, and she also loves me. She has taught me a whole bunch of stuff and helped me with my manners. Sometimes I get so excited I forget to use them, but she will give you tips on how to help me remember them. I hear they are really important and even more so when you are a little pit bull like me.

I am about 6 years old now, I have been in rescue for a while which I don't understand. Who does not want a cute, happy, fun loving guy like me around? If you think you and I would be best buds forever go ahead and fill out the application so we can meet. I am looking for both a foster and a forever home. So whichever one you want, I am cool with that.

It costs the rescue about $400 a month to keep me in boarding. If you could foster me that would help them tremendously. They will continue to cover all my vet care and other expenses. If you cannot foster me but still want to help me out, you can donate to them. Just click the donate tab at www.scoutshonor.org and indicate that the donation is for my care. These guys have helped me out a lot and never stopped believing in me so I just want to do my part to help out. I could at least ask.

I am up to date on vaccines, neutered (ouch!) and microchipped.
