Vela is the ultimate activity companion, relishing nothing more than to go on long walks or runs with her favorite person. When she's not entertaining you with her squirrel-chasing method (it's hilarious), Vela loves to lavish affection on her people in the form of kisses and expressive, chocolate brown googly eyes. This gorgeous girl is also great with kids. She has an active streak, but when her energy levels off, she is a first-class cuddler and napper. An excellent student, she is highly-trainable and is studying the art of walking on a leash, sit, and down. She also does well when left confined in one room while her fosters are away at work. Vela's would appreciate someone who can work with her to help her blossom into the dog she's truly meant to be. Oh, and who has a yard with trees full of squirrels! Vela has so much love to give, and she's ready to show her forever family how much she appreciates you. Will you give this pup the life she so deserves?
