German Shepherd Dog / Chocolate Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat) Dog

Romeo the Dog needs a home

Romeo is a lovable, and as you can see, a loving German Shepherd mix.  His favorite activity is giving and receiving hugs and kisses.  As his name would imply, Romeo is extremely friendly, always ready to meet and engage with new people.  Our boy Romeo came to us from a city shelter.  The story is that he had a girl friend named Juliette (true story) and that he spent a fair amount of time with Juliette as a stray.  They may have even made a few puppies along the way.  Juliette found a new home, so now Romeo is looking to shower his affection with his own family.  (Minus, of the course, the ability to make puppies).

Romeo is friendly with other large breed dogs, but does seem to enjoy chasing smaller animals, like cats and squirrels.  Romeo is in excellent health.  He would benefit from a refresher obedience course.  Since we do not know his complete background, we are looking for a home with children over 10.   If you are looking for a happy, friendly shepherd mix, Romeo is your dog.

Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary's mission is to rescue adult and senior German Shepherd and Shepherd mixes and find them loving homes.  All of our dogs are fully vetted and up to date on all their shots
