Sparky the Dog needs a home


Sparky is a cute little male Pomeranian who has not been socialized his entire life. When he is in a new home or any environment he is almost feral.  It takes at least three weeks for him to become comfortable in new surrounding and know that he is loved and safe. He loves his people when he gets to know them but until that time he will dart around your house and not let you touch him. He should be kept on a leash at all times until he is comfortable because he is a flight risk if he gets out into an unfenced area. Sparky will hide until he feels comfortable with you. He loves other furfriends and plays and plays. He also like antlers, nylabones and toys.  He is 90% housebroken but should go outside immediately after he eats.  Sparky will rest in a crate when you are able to pick him up and put him there, but he will go in a crate and rest too on his own. He eats small breed dry food but enjoys a bit a wet food for a treat and loves little dog biscuits too. He really is a cute boy when he gets to know you and will sleep with you and sit on your lap when he finally lets you pick him up.


All SAAP animals are vet checked, UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, and given flea and heartworm preventative as age appropriate.
