Monty the Dog needs a home
We believe Monty is a Rat Terrier mix estimated to have been born in May, 2012. What he's mixed with is anyone's guess...we think maybe long-haired Chihuahua or maybe even some Italian Greyhound with those long legs and slim physique. He weighs about 14 lbs. He loves attention and to cuddle with his person. He is an obedient pup and loves to please, but does need structure and rules in his home. He will do best as an only pup, but does ok with most small well-balanced dogs. He does need a calm introduction to another pup and he can be a bit of a resource guarder. Monty is not one to play with other dogs. He will do best in a calm environment - no small children. He would love a lap to sleep on!

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $250, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
