isn’t sure the world is a safe place. He is very protective of his food, space, toys and people. He needs time to get to know and trust new people, and he prefers to be the only pet in his home. Once

feels safe with you, he loves to cuddle, and he really enjoys going to the park for walks and for other outings.

will do best in a quiet home with no young children and without too many people coming and going, but where he can be an active companion for a person or couple. He is bright and strong despite his old injuries, and he needs to be both mentally and physically engaged to be happy. He needs to be with his people much of the time and not left alone for long periods. A home with someone who is patient and willing to work with him and our behavior team to help him overcome his anxiety is the kind of home this little boy needs.
