Adopt a German Shepherd Dog / Norwegian Elkhound / Mixed (medium coat)
Watts the Dog needs a home
Profile Info: Watts is a 7-month-old Elkhound German Shepherd mix currently at 30 lbs. He and his brothers were rescued from a 78-dog hoarding situation where they were being cared for outdoors. They were well fed and generally taken care of but have little socialization skills with people and are very timid. They are very sweet and gentle and will let humans handle them without any aggressive reactivity. They just need some TLC and time to come out of their shell! Watts has settled into his foster home and is now crate trained and happily and promptly goes potty outside on leash. Cuddling with humans is getting a little less scary, and he's starting to wag his tail a bit! He needs to go to a home with another dog(s). Cats shouldn't be an issue. Stay tuned for more information as we get to know him!
Adoption Info: Adoption fee $475 includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.
