Ella the Rabbit needs a home

Ella is a calm, friendly rabbit who had been running loose in a suburban neighborhood for about a year until the homeowner who had been feeding her noticed her limping and called Rabbit Advocates (RA) for help. RA secured a relinquishment from the homeowner and took Ella to the vet. Ella was found to have an inflammation in her left front paw which was successfully treated with antibiotics. She was subsequently spayed and was pregnant with two kits in one uterine horn. The other horn was scar tissue from a previous rupture.



Ella loves to get out of her condo and explore the living room. She has yet to do a binky, but we are sure one is coming.  Her eyes are bright, she is alert and seems to be enjoying indoor living as opposed to fending for herself outdoors where she needed to avoid the neighborhood dogs and cats.
