Tarrah the Dog needs a home
Meet Tarrah! She came to us with 5 newborns in tow after having delivered them in the shelter. She has been an excellent mom despite not being much more than a pup herself. Tarrah is super friendly toward everyone. She loves dogs and kids and strangers. She wants affection from all. She is a smaller girl weighing in at 25lbs while nursing.
She loves to run in the fenced yard but on the leash, she wants to smell everything. She does well on the leash and enjoys exploring the great outdoors. She and her current companion dog have 2 speeds – running/playing or sleep. She will need a fenced yard as she does not yet respond to her name if she is loose outside. Also, she would be very happy to have another dog to play with. She pretty much ignores cats UNLESS the cats decide to run, then she chases. Might be the feist in her. She doesn’t exhibit any aggression though. She loves to play tug-of-war with toys.
Tarrah doesn't have much in the way of formal training but she's bright and pays attention and will be a fast learner. She is super excited by treats and loves to 'hide' her bones in blankets. She has very expressive eyes and you know very quickly just how much you mean to her. She’s a great snuggler. She appears to be house trained as there have not been any accidents in the house so far. As there is a pet door she has not had to ask to go outside Tarrah is happy and fun loving, full of energy; and will make a wonderful addition to any family. When you meet her you can tell just how much she wants a family of her own. If you are looking for a smaller sized affectionate cutie, she's your gal.
