Vesper the Dog needs a home

Vesper (evening star) is a somewhat shy, 1ish-year-old lab/hound mix who was living out in the county with a bunch of other rescued strays. This beautiful girl weighs 58.4 lbs, is heartworm negative, up-to-date on shots, and spayed (11/20/17). Vesper is not skittish, walks ok on a leash, but is cautious in traffic (vehicular and human). Once she gets to know another pup or human, she's all fun and games. (She and Dimer-- also on this site-- play till they drop.) Vesper is great in our big fenced yard, but will dig out of a kennel in minutes (she wants in the big yard, darn it!). She doesn't try to climb the fence but she can leap a baby gate with the grace of a Lipizzon.
