Scout is a tall, lanky teen who is still figuring out what his legs are all about. Needless to say, he is a bit on the clumsy side. One of his many endearing traits!! Scout has almost completely figured out that the great outdoors is his bathroom, with only a few accidents here and there since he has taken up residence at our place. Scout LOVES to play with our resident and other foster dogs! But after a while, he is more than willing to just chill out on the couch and watch some HGTV. Scout does not like being in a crate, it seems to cause some anxiety for him, which we are working on. But he has been fine when left in a confined bedroom, and loves to keep himself busy with toys while you are gone.
One of Scout's true talents is contortionism! We aren't sure if that's a real word, but its a thing in Scout's book. What this entails is Scout deciding that he is chihuahua-size and placing himself into the tightest of spaces just so that he can snuggle with you, read: in between couch cushions or between your pillows and headboard of the bed :) He loves to be close (really close haha).
We have a fenced-in backyard that Scout appreciates spending lots of time running around back there with the other dogs. Cold? We aren't sure he knows what this is, since he has been romping and wrestling in the snow every day! We haven't had too much leash time with him yet, but he doesn't seem to pull too much.
