Meet Mila,
a sweet, 4-5 month old Retriever/Shepherd mix pup. She is a bit on the shy and timid side and takes time to warm up to new people. Mila doesn't have a mean bone in her body, but due to her shyness, she would do best in a home with another young and confident dog and kids 8 yrs and up. Because she's a baby, she'll require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue her training - no exceptions! She is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed at the age of 6 months.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies ) , spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
