Dumpling - Bonded with Biscuit the Dog needs a home
Biscuit and Dumpling are a shy but sweet mother-daughter bonded pair. Dumpling is an adorable Doxie/Patterdale Terrier mix while Biscuit seems to have some black lab in her as well. Both are 25-30 pounds.
Biscuit is 2 years old and Dumpling is around 5 years old.
They likely didn’t have many positive early experiences with people, and as a result, are very wary of anyone new. They take a long time to trust but eventually bond strongly with their identified person. While Dumpling in particular is still wary of being touched, both girls will greet you with wagging tails and wiggly bodies. They have made slow but steady progress in their foster home and they love to be near their foster mama. They will need to be adopted together, and would do best in a one or two person home (no young children) with access to a secure fenced yard. They would do well with another mellow dog and would likely be fine with cats. Biscuit needs twice daily eye medication for dry eye
. She is very easy to apply her
eye medication.
They are looking for a home that will love them for who they are and continue to provide them with gentle encou
ragement and training. Both dogs are house trained and crate trained!
Adoption fee for the pair is $525
