Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Leo the Cat needs a home

Leo came to us with his litter mates when we was just two weeks old. He has always been the biggest and most energetic and loving kitten. After a few weeks he suddenly had a seizure and continued to have more. Extensive testing has not found any conclusive reasons for his seizures. He has responded well to preventative medications and as long as he takes them twice a day the seizures stay away.

Leo is a very sweet boy that will melt in your arms when picked up and run and play for hours when set down. He is very entertaining to watch. Leo loves every other kitty he meets and can usually be found snuggled up close with a foster sibling when he is sleeping. He is not afraid of water and occasionally falls in the tub trying to see what is going on when humans shower.

Leo will need an adopter or long term foster that can administer his medicine twice a day. We are hopeful that as he gets older he might be able to come off medication but he may need it long term. He has been taking this from a young age and does well with it.
