Standard Adoption Fee Adult Dog: $250 ea.  Puppy Adoption Fee: $300 ea. Reduced rates for Seniors dogs (10 and up).  Reduced rates for pairs (when adopted together).

Sister to Lil Lolly

Hola, I am Carmelita, a mature big beautiful dachshund.  In my checkup, the Doctor pointed out that I have to consider cutting back on the treats and getting more active. My sister Lil Lolly and I love going for long walks all around.  We enjoy the smells and the beautiful view of the community.  Lil Lolly and I are still working on our leash walking skills, but we are learning so don't believe the ole saying "you can't teach an old dog new tricks".  A healthy treat and belly rub can go a LONG way in teaching me things.  I am very loving and caring about you.  I will want to be on your lap or close by it as well as walk with you around our house.  When you are gone I will miss you and patiently wait for you get back.  I know that I have a mansion fit for an amazing Dachshund such as myself that I am happy to get into when my foster Dad has to leave but I do prefer my sister to share the space with me.  So if you are looking for a great pair of sisters and gal pals, give Lil Lolly and I a call!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!
