Jack the Dog needs a home
**Jack will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills, in Pennington, NJ, over the Feb 23-25th weekend.**
Jack originally came to our rescue as a timid, stray pup in 2016. He found a great home with a family and excelled in that home. His former owner trains dogs and Jack received some very good one-on-one training. Besides overcoming his timid nature, Jack also became very well trained at living inside a house. Unfortunately his family experienced some very difficult and expensive medical issues and had to return Jack to our rescue.
Jack has always been very people friendly but at times he will shy away from men. Normally, however, all it takes is for Jack to receive a treat and he'll gladly be their friend! Jack loves to run and play and walks very well on a leash. He would be ideal for someone who likes to go jogging or hiking. His new home should have ample room for him to get the exercise he needs
Jack shared his former home with other dogs and typically got along very well with them. On a couple of occasions, however, Jack had an altercation with the other dogs. Those incidents seemed to happen when there was a toy, chew bone or the playing got a little too rough and Jack tried tom exert his dominance over the other dogs. Despite Jack normally getting along great with other dogs, we'd suggest that he be an only dog in a home but could see him still having a playmate on occasions.
Jack has been fully vetted and given the very best of care. He's heart worm negative, been kept up to date on all of his vaccinations, wormings, monthly preventatives and is already micro-chipped.
