Meet Cookie, a total cuddle bug who loves people, gets along well with other dogs, and is great on a leash. Cookie is about 6-months-old and will probably grow up to be between 50 and 60 pounds. She is looking for a family with other dogs, kids, and/or active adults who can give her all the exercise, training, and affection every young dog needs and deserves.

Adoption fees range between $50 and $150, depending on the age and size of the dog. Spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, flea treatment, dewormer, and microchip are all included.


Prospective adopters must agree to a home visit, have secure fencing and allow their dog to sleep inside at night. Those coming from out of town may submit a vet reference in place of a home visit. All renters need landlord approval.


If you already have a dog or two, they must be spayed/neutered and brought to the shelter for a meet and greet. Homes that already have more than two dogs, or any unaltered dogs, will not be considered. 


Exceptions to these rules may be made in special circumstances.
