Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat)

Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat) Dog

General the Dog needs a home

Attention!  I am called General!  This title fits me well for two very distinct reasons...1) I was rescued in a "Dollar General" store parking lot as I was shopping for a new owner and 2) it was Veterans Day!   So there you have it...my perfect name!

I have been told that I am one of the sweetest, and kindest boys ever.   I love people and just bury my head in your lap, wanting some TLC.   I also get along well with my K9 friends, as long as they are nice to me.   I am afraid of over bearing pushy K9s.   I had a tough time surviving my time on the street, but now things are so much better!   I never knew it was possible to live inside and get regular meals and vet care.   Wow!  Life has truly turned around for me!

I am staying in a nice boarding kennel, and have made some good friends, but I am longing for my own family and sleeping in a nice bed and getting spoiled on a daily basis.   I promise you, I will return the love ten fold!

I am also taking doggie obedience lessons and have been told by the trainer that I am a very quick learner.

Please email [email protected] if you would like to meet me.  I am patiently waiting, but the sooner the better!  XOXO!  General
