Diamond is a gorgeous 1 year old Russian Blue who has a wonderful personality to go along with her good looks! She was rescued from a shelter down south. She is a big solid girl, and she loves to be pet and held. She is very sweet and affectionate! She gets along well with other cats.
Diamond is currently being fostered in a loving home in NC while she awaits transport to DPR, which is scheduled for Feb. 18th, but we are accepting applications for her now!
Although Diamond is listed as a Russian Blue that is just our best guess and she is NOT hypoallergenic.
Diamond is spayed, has tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $150
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
