Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Bruce Wayne the Dog needs a home

Bruce is a big couch potato, who LOVES snuggling, and positive human affection. Before coming to PAWS, Bruce lived with a dog trainer who found him as a stray, so he already has a great start to his education. This smart boy doesn't mind a crate, isn't destructive, is fully house-trained (although will need to adjust to the routine of his new home's potty schedule), and already knows Sit, Off, Leave it, Out, Come (by name), touch, look, and Over here. He's learning beginnings of place and of lay down but will need more work on that. His foster mom feels strongly that he should continue with regular training, particularly since once he puts more weight on, he will be 65-70 pounds.

In the past Bruce temporarily lived with cats and well-trained dogs, and was able to make it work with those animals, but his time in the shelter has set him back a little. Due to his need for an adopter who can train him to rebuild the foundation he started with, it would be best for Bruce to go to a home as the only animal at this time. You can call PAWS staff to learn more about whether Bruce would be the guy for you!

Name: Bruce Wayne

Location: Foster Care

Weight: 55 pounds (He is underweight and will probably put on another 10-15 pounds)
