Dolly the Dog needs a home

The Helotes Humane Society is a non profit organization dedicated to placing unwanted animals in loving homes. Remember, don't shop, adopt!


Dolly is a tall, strong girl, sweet and affectionate couch potatoe.  She is 6 years old years old.  She is looking for a country home where she lie on her dog beds spread throughout the house where she can lounge wherever her humans are.  She will require a 6 ft fence to potty in.  She does like short walks.  She 

loves petting, treats and attention. She has to be in a home without dogs, cats or kids (under 12 yrs old).  

She is housetrained and will require lifelong joint supplements, weight management food.  No apartments!

All of our animals receive vaccinations, testing and altering appropriate for their age. All pets will be microchipped prior to placement. The pet overpopulation problem has reached a crisis stage. We will use all of our resources to spay and neuter all pets in our care.
