Russell is an extremely shy, neutered, 1 year old little boy. His shyness can be a lot to deal with if you are not an experienced dog owner. He needs a very patient pet owner that has experience with shy dogs. He has been known to bolt from new people until he's comfortable.  He is about 12 pounds and loves to run and play and just be near his person once he gets to know you. He loves other dogs of all sizes, not sure about cats. He needs some time and patience to adjust to his new home and you will have to earn his trust. He'd do best in a home where someone can be around to help with his transition and for bonding purposes. An ideal home for Russell would be a single person home or a couple who spends most of their time at home. Another dog would be good to help him feel more secure although he'd be okay as an only dog. Not kids please! He needs a calm quiet environment. And he is micro chipped. Please consider giving this sweet boy the forever home he deserves.
