Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Honey the Cat needs a home

Honey has the sweetest disposition!

Currently living at: Foster home in VA, looking for forever.

UPDATE FROM HER FOSTER HOME: Honey is one of the sweetest cats I have ever come across. We wanted to get her out of the shelter to see if it would help her nose condition. She had been living in a condo by herself because of her condition. It was clear she was starving for attention. Honey is about 1 year old and is super petite at slightly under 5lbs. She simply wants to be right next to you, however she is not a fan of being held. She definitely has had a rough start and we are still working through her nose issue to see if there is anything we can do. She loves attention and LOVES to be brushed. She tries to meow and on a good day I can almost hear it. She is learning how to play but is mostly uninterested in toys. Because she is stuffed up most of the time I have found that the pouch food seems to work best. I use baby wipes to gently clear her nose and she is extremely tolerant. I have also gotten her a humidifier (which will go with her forever family if needed).  Honey is going to make a family so very happy I just know it. Until then she is living with my three cats and her foster sister Rowan and I will continue to love her until someone takes over that role. ????

Honey is desperately looking for her forever. This little lady came to PAWS with a really stuffy nose and we all know how horrible that can make us feel. All of her shelter aunties and uncles have been working with the best vets to figure out why we just can't get her poor nose clear. Through all the different antibiotics and vet visits she has maintained the sweetest disposition and is sooo loving, she purrs through it all. Honey may have chronic Rhinosinusitis which is the inflammation in her nasal passages. It is not contagious, she is not in pain, she just sounds stuffy and may need her nose wiped clean every now and then. Are you the home for Honey that doesn't mind wiping a nose every now and then? I promise she will love you with her whole heart and more!
