Churro the Dog needs a home
Meet Churro! This handsome boy is as smart and well-behaved in person as he looks in his pictures. Churro was rescued from San Bernardino and he is now awaiting his forever family in the comfort of a foster home. Churro’s foster parents have endless complimentary things to say about this wonderful boy. He loves to relax and lay on the floor or couch while his foster parents watch TV. He is incredibly respectful of little dogs (the house alpha is a Chihuahua), and coexists harmoniously with the resident felines. Churro is very intelligent and trainable, loves all food and treats, and knows a bunch of commands such as sit, lay down, watch me, fetch, drop it, and even wait. He is completely crate trained, and will voluntarily stay in or go into his kennel, content to chew on his toys. His favorite toys are the soft ones, and he carries around an emptied plush toy like a security blanket. Churro was a little wary about certain spots being touched when he first started living with his foster people, but he soon built trust over time and now he is totally okay with his paws, back legs, and tummy to be rubbed all the time. He especially enjoys getting his back scratched, and is an absolute cuddle bug. Churro loves going to the groomers, and they all give him amazing report cards for being so good. He weighs around 85 pounds, and he’s like a big goofy puppy sometimes when he shows off his playful side, though is a fully grown adult just over 7 years old as of early 2018. Churro would make an excellent loyal companion, and he is ready to meet his forever people!
