Tia the Dog needs a home
At Dogtown, Tia is known as a friend to all dogs and people. She has such good dog skills that she often assisted her caregivers in testing how other dogs would react to a calm, friendly dog. Tia is as smart as she is beautiful and would make an awesome hiking companion. She loves to romp and play and to stay active both physically and mentally. She especially likes doing all sorts of food puzzles and learning new tricks. That said, Tia also has an off switch and can enjoy downtime around the house just as easily.Born in 2013, Tia came to Best Friends from a rescue organization in Nevada. Although she's done well with all dogs at the Sanctuary and has lived with small dogs successfully before, she has shown aggression toward cats in the past and cannot live with them. While Tia loves other dogs, she's learning not to express her excitement by barking when she sees them on walks. She's also crate trained. Tia is so easy and sweet that she would fit into just about any home.
