Hi, my name is Rodeo and I am 2 years old. I used to have a family, but I guess they decided they didn't love me any longer, so they took me to a very noisy place with lots of new smells.....some not so nice. I was afraid and didn't know what I had done wrong.

 I had gotten hurt in the past and never got the medical attention that my family should have given me, but still I was a good boy with them. I was in pain for a few months and then all of a sudden I woke up and the pain was gone and all seemed ok......until the day they took me for a ride, then everything changed.

 I was rescued by people who took me to the vet and the vet said that I had a previous pelvic injury that had healed well on it's own and was not a cause for concern or pain for me.... and it certainly doesn't bother me.........I can chase my soccer ball like you wouldn't believe........I LOVE MY SOCCER BALL!!!!! I was sent to a foster home but I was kept in a crate almost all the time and I really didn't like that, so I would cry. They told the rescue that they could not keep me any longer because I cried when I was in the crate.....I was sorry, but I was lonely and wanted someone to love and play with me.

That's when the rescue sent out a plea for help with me........they were asking if another rescue would please take me. To me it seemed like nobody wanted me and this made me sad.

But one day a lady took me to a busy place with airplanes all around and I met Miss Laura and Mr. David....he was the one who flew the plane!! And I took my first flight to SC to find my new beginning in life. Mr. David was met at the airport by Miss Michelle, she is a funny lady, I like her!!!! She took me to Mr. Scott's house and we had a sleepover...I like him too......that was LOTS of FUN!!!! The next morning Miss Barb and Mr. Mark from New Beginnings Shepherd Rescue came to pick me up......I am now proudly an NBSR dog and they have promised to find just the right home for me, so that I will never have to worry again and I can even take my ball and my bed (I LOVE MY BED.....and did I mention that I LOVE MY BALL TOO ) with me to my new forever home .
