Guinevere is a curious lady with the most beautiful intriguing eyes! She has really been put through the ringer lately. Not only was she rescued during Hurricane Harvey, but also she was very sick when she came to APA. This little rock star has bounced back beautifully, and can't wait to put those crummy memories behind her and start life with her forever family! This pooch really is the epitome of resilient! Guinevere is such a good girl! She does wonderfully in her crate, is house trained, and has fully mastered walking on her leash. She loves playing with other dogs as her foster describes her as "velcroed" to her foster sibling. And she's good with cats too! She has been through so much, and is a bit shy when she meets new people. It doesn't take this sweet girl long to warm up, and once you're buddies, it is one of the most rewarding feelings! She adores her humans and likes to press her nose on you to show you she's your biggest fan! Her current foster says when you walk in the room that Guinevere bursts with elation and it will truly put you on cloud 9! Guinevere has an adorably curious nature, and loves to sniff around the house and yard to find out all the fun secrets it holds. She really blossoms when she's around other social, playful dogs, and likes to take their direction on what's allowed in the house. Guinevere seems to find a comfort having dog siblings around, and would greatly benefit from a home that could provide one for her. Guinevere mostly wants a home where she is loved and feels safe. With a little patience, Guinevere will be the most wonderful companion! She can't wait to move forward in life with her family and grow with them everyday. She just wants to belong.
