Boasting a white star on her ebony chest and paws dipped in white, this beautiful blend of two doggy breeds takes sweetness to new heights. At 54 pounds, Nala is the ultimate snuggle buddy and most effusive of kissers, curling up with her family on the couch and sleeping with them in bed at night. Having been privately trained as a puppy, with a refresher course last spring, she responds well to most of her learned commands, is still honing a few, and is crate and housetrained. Given her slight stubborn streak and tendency to chase cats and squirrels, she’s best kept on a "tight leash" during the walks that she loves. And while she chooses the dogs she prefers to befriend, Nala’s more of a loner and would thrive as the only pet in an experienced, patient and loving home with only older, respectful children.
