Meet Reese!  This gorgeous brindle girl is approximately 3 years old and has quite the story.  She was found on cold November evening running loose while being very pregnant.  We don't know if she was dumped or she got out, but she sure hit the lottery when she joined K9LLR.  She was picked up by the local Animal Control and brought right to the Emergency Vet to check if she was still pregnant or if she had already had her babies.  Luckily for her, she was still very pregnant, and even luckier...her foster mom worked at the ER she was brought to.  She ended up staying at the ER for a couple days while Animal Control tried to find her a safe place to go as she could not have her babies at A/C.  Once her foster mom got to work, she knew she wasn't leaving without her.  Before they left for the night, Reese ended up giving birth to 6 beautiful puppies.  She has been an amazing mother and our best guess is she was used for breeding.  Lucky for her, she has been spayed and will never have to be bred again!

Her time raising her puppies has come to an end and she is now in the search for a forever home or a foster home.  She co-exists with other dogs in her current foster home fairly well after slow introductions.  She should do fine in a home with other dogs after multiple meetings.  Her foster siblings don't mind having another dog around and she seems to get very excited when she is around them.  She has met cats at her foster mom's work, and we think she will be a cat chaser, so a home without cats would be ideal.  Reese loves chewing on bones and she is slowly learning how to play toys.  She walks well on a leash and has done very well on her potty training and crate training.  Reese knows how to sit and is very food motivated- she gets so excited when you get the cookies- her whole body jiggles and she makes her happy noises.

Reese loves people and absolutely adores children- her only flaw is a tail that never stops wagging (and does hurt when she whacks you with it).  Reese is ready for that family that just wants to love her as much as she wants to love them.  She is such a sweet dog and wants nothing more than to please and make you happy. Reese loves to get cuddled and be loved on.  She is the best snuggle bug!! Reese is up to date on all necessary vetting.  An anonymous donor is donating up to $300 towards training classes for Reese.
