Chai the Cat needs a home

Chai is a female cat left outside after her house burned down. Even though someone was taking care of her, they left her on the shelters doorstep. She is very sweet and quiet and just a bit confused about all that has happened to her. She doesn't seem to like other cats and unfortunately has to live in a cage instead of roaming free in our cat rooms. She desperately needs to get out, a cage is no life for a cat! She would do better in a home with no other cats, no dogs, and older children. She just wants a nice quiet place to call her own.

PLEASE NOTE: We require all interested parties to come to the shelter to meet the pet, complete an adoption application, and interview with our Director.
