Single 10 month old, 63 pound sable female seeking the right partner to teach me the ways of the world. I like exploring, playing fetch, and going for long walks. I’m seeking someone who will keep me active, do training with me, and spend lots of time with me. They call me Solace and I’m available if you think you’re up for the job! If Solace had her way, she’d be a lap dog who gets to play endless game of fetch. She has a sweet, loving personality and is always happy to see her humans. She is vocal and will tell you what she thinks but she does not jump on humans. She needs someone who is willing to put the work in as she will require professional training with her adoption, she’s still a rebellious teenager who needs to learn some manners. Her foster mom is working with her but she still has a long way to go. Solace has an extreme desire to please her humans, she would be a great agility dog with the proper training. Solace would do best as an only dog or with a single companion dog who is confident in itself as Solace is a dominant female who will push the buttons and boundaries of the other dog. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and walks mostly well on a leash. She came into the rescue with Lyme’s Disease and while she has completed her medicine she will need to have a recheck blood test
in 6 months
