Red is a loving and goofy member of our family, but since we had our baby, he has been difficult to manage. We've worked with our trainer, Heather Polechio of Mindful Mutz, to come to the hard decision to rehome Red. We love him, and we plan to be very selective about his new family!
Red's problem is resource-guarding, particularly of people food when he gets hold of it. It's a manageable problem for adults and older, responsible kids. Little ones run the risk of being nipped. Other than this important issue, Red is very obedient - walks well on leash, heels, sits, stays, comes, and begs on command. He has good house manners and loves time outside as well. Loves to snuggle on a couch and sunbathe in the backyard, behaves well in a crate when no one is home. Red does very well with our submissive Lab, and he gets along with dogs of all sizes at the dog park.
