Introducing Katie....
Katie is a 9-12 month old red & white Siberian Husky with blue eyes. Katie came to us as a stray and we're just getting to know her, but here's what we can tell you so far. She is all HUSKY! So she needs a home with someone who has a thorough understanding of the breed. She's an escape artist with a BIG personality. Katie must go to a home who has other young dogs to play with. She's very dog friendly and will play all day long. Katie needs a home with a secure, tall fenced in yard - we call that Husky-proofed.
Katie will keep you on your toes, but keep you laughing always. She is spayed and current on her vaccines. Katie has no known medical issues. She is being fostered in the south but can be transported to MD or NJ for adoption.
~~~~~The Last Resort is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in.
