Adopt a Border Collie / Husky / Mixed (medium coat)
Pinto the Dog needs a home
Pinto is the best bud of Rico (a Dog Star adoptable). He even looks a lot like him except for his coloring. He has the same eyes and ears, same shaped face, same age (3 ½ years), and same gentle temperament. His coat is a mix of black and white, medium in length. He has the same build as his brother, a solid body, weighing just over 50 pounds. We don’t know what his mix is. Could it be Lab? Husky? Shepherd? Whatever the combo, Pinto is one good looking dog.
Pinto and Rico were surrendered because their owner could no longer care for them. Pinto is house trained, crate trained, and knows how to walk beautifully on a leash. He lived in a house with kids and hung out with his good buddy, Rico.
Please remember that even trained dogs may have occasional accidents as they adjust to a new home and new routine.
He is a gentle soul, listens well, and loves attention. He is another tail wagger! Pinto knows commands, does well in a play group with other dogs, and thinks life is great when he meets and greets people. He is a well rounded friendly dog.
His friendship with Rico is special. But he does not have to be adopted with Rico, though it would be wonderful if it happened. Through no fault of his own he lost his forever home. He deserves a second chance to have one. Are you the family for him? If yes, read below:
The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
