Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)
Missy the Cat needs a home
Hi, my name is Missy. I am a kind, shy, gentle cat, but lost in my mixed family of four cats, and I am on the bottom rung. I started out here as a kitten with my sister Cheetah. We were really cute together doing the silly things that kittens do. When we moved to a bigger house, my humans brought a stray cat with them who had decided to adopt my humans. She (Big Momma) was also pregnant and it was in the winter, so I understood. After she had her kittens and spent time in the house, it was clear that she was the strongest one. That was OK, she and I got along fine. We slept together and cleaned each other. Then came Kimba, the white Maine Coon devil. He was young but got big, so he became #2. He and Cheetah began to beat up on me, just to show me where my place was. I got depressed and began to eat too much. My humans understand and believe I would be a great cat if I could be in a quiet house, maybe with another cat that liked me. Then I could show off my roll over trick, and show you how gentle I can be with my paw when I touch your arm, just to let you know I am there and could use a pet. I bet I would even lose some weight if I felt safe and comfortable all the time. I have good scratching manners and love catnip as much as any other cat. I can sleep with you or I can sleep by myself. I will let you know when it's time to eat, but I won’t be obnoxious about it. I have a clean bill of health, and ready to show you what a great and pretty cat I really am. I have a lovely blue-gray fur coat. I have a pretty head, and I like to purr when things are good. Hope to see you soon!
