Hi, I'm Lucee, and I'm very excited to explore the world around me. I was very afraid of everything when I first came to my foster home, but I stick close to the other dogs in the home, and I'm learning lots from them. Every day I get a little braver, and I'm very excited to see my foster parents when they come home from work! 

And now, a few words from my foster mom:

Lucee is adorable, and is quickly coming out of her shell to show off what a spunky girl she can be! She absolutely adores the other dogs in the house, and needs to keep track of where they are. She always watches to see what the other dogs do before trying something new, but she usually takes over once she's comfortable. Whenever myself or another family member is petting one of the other dogs, Lucee will squeeze in to get her share of the attention!

House training is a work in progress. Lucee does NOT like the cold. She is starting to make the connection that doing her business = coming inside, but she will need constant support to keep it going. 

Lucee loves exploring the house, and has an adorable little strut to her step. She hasn't learned stairs yet, so needs to be carried between floors. She was very quiet when she first arrived, but has found her voice, and will vocalize a little bit to get our attention.  She has started to show interest in toys as well, and has been hoarding stuffed animals in her bed when no-one is looking.   Lucee would be an amazing companion for a well socialized dog who can teach her more about exploring her world.
