Buddy the Dog needs a home
super sweet, loving Chihuahua mix
This precious little boy was dumped at a kill shelter. He was then placed in a pen with big dogs who attacked him and severely broke his leg. Without medical care on his leg, he was sent home with a foster and pain meds. After THREE MONTHS he was returned to the shelter and placed on the kill list. That's when we found out about him and pulled him to safety.
Buddy ended up having to have 3 surgeries to fix his leg. The final surgery was amputation. This was the best answer to resolve his pain and discomfort. However, nothing has broken his beautiful spirit and sweet personality.
Buddy is young (approximately 2), he is crate trained and he LOVES LOVES LOVES dogs. This sugar sweet natured boy also loves cats.
Since his surgery, Buddy has had some issues with urinating. All tests have shown him to be healthy. We are currently raising funds for more test to figure this out. We hope this doesn't stop a loving forever family from taking him into their home. He's so sweet and super quiet. He will be worth it we promise!!! Buddy's leg amputation hasn't slowed him down one single bit.
