Meet our Little Guy, Stuart!!
You may have seen the many videos where our volunteers and followers through out ideas as to what exact breed Stuart may be. You see when this little guy came to TMHPR he was the runt of his litter at only 1/3 the size of his siblings. He had hair loss, tiny ears and we could not figure out what breed he resembled!
Now that he has fattened up and that hair has grown in . . . . he looks fabulous. And he has had a Wisdom Panel DNA submitted. We are currently guessing a Red Heeler, cause we have seen Mama. And going with a guess of Bull Terrier for Daddy. But, time will tell us for sure!
Stuart definitely has the personality of a terrier. He is a little spit fire, but then that is most likely how he survived the first 8 weeks of life, pure will to live. He will need an experienced owner who will be ready to get him into training, so you can channel that drive and determination. He will be a fabulous partner as he learns to become the awesome BIG dog that is in that little body.
For our puppies, we require someone home more than not. Whether it is a stay at home parent or a work from home parent . . . Stuart need lots of love and training throughout the day. With Stuart, we are looking for a home without children or teenagers who understand the nipping that a puppy can bring.
