ADOPTION PROCESS

 

Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application.  Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check.  2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, and Phoenix area - as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).

We rescued Simon from the county shelter in late summer 2016.  Poor guy was sick with a very treatable upper respiratory infection and very thin - but under our vet's care, he quickly rebounded and is now in a foster home, looking for a forever family that won't let him end up in a situation like that again!  He's gorgeous, young, friendly, and learning the ropes from his wonderful foster mom.  His perfect home would be one where there are no small kids and where he can be the only pet, although he may get along in some situations - introductions would need to be done to assess compatibility.
