From the Foster: Capelli is a great little girl who surprises everyone with her sweetness.  Its amazing so much personality and charm can be packed into such a small little body! Capellli is a great mixture of a fun loving adventure buddy with a laid back movie-watching couch buddy.  She does great in any environment that her family is active with her and wants her to be a part of their lives.  



A couple of things to know about little Miss Capelli.  She is picky about her dog friends, and can be a little bossy when it comes to sharing things.   She does much better with male dogs than with female dogs, so if you have a dog at home already, she can only be adopted into a home with a boy dog.  It can take her a little while to warm up to a new dog friend, but if the other dog is confident and accepting, she will get there with them!  Food & bones she can get protective of as well, so that is something to be aware of.  With the right friend and monitoring she does just fine!  She also prefers to meet her dog friends when she's NOT on a leash.  When walking with her, if she's on a loose lead and not feeling super restrained she does ok, but if she's tightly held she feels very vulnerable and does not like it!

Capelli was in a home for a while and went through a lot of obedience, so you're getting a very well trained lady with this one!   She knows all the basic commands, and some of the more advanced ones, too - and she has a drive to learn.  If you wanted an agility dog or even just a dog to spend time training 'fun' tricks to, she might be just the girl for you!  She really does aim to please and is ready to do whatever is asked of her.
