Tonto the Dog needs a home
Tonto is 100% Labrador Retriever! He is a 3 year old male, neutered yellow lab who is anxiously awaiting his forever home. His start in life was rough, but he is happy and healthy now, as you can see from his photos. Tonto is usually shy at first, but given just a little time and patience, he becomes an enthusiastic playmate to humans and other dogs. Due to his size and enthusiasm, we're recommending Tonto be placed in a home without young (under 10 or 12) children
He LOVES water and playing fetch. Up to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, crate trained, house trained and progressing quickly with leash training. He loves learning and pleasing his people. Because of his size and energy levels, Tonto isn't well suited to apartment living! A yard for impromptu games of fetch or chase is a necessity! This big boy is a lovable house dog who needs and deserves to be near his family. When you meet him, you're gonna love Tonto - everyone does!!!

The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Tonto is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
