Buttercup's letter to you:  
Hi ! My name is Buttercup. I am a female American Staffordshire mix. My foster mommy thinks I'm mixed with Boxer. My daddy found me very hungry and skinny.  The vet said I had not more than a few days left to live. He took me home to meet mommy and they are taking care of me but they can't keep me because they already have lots of dogs.

After about 1 month, I am now in good health. I am spayed, up to date on all my shots, and don't have heart worms or anything requiring additional vet care. I now weigh 46 pounds. Mommy was surprised because I was homeless for awhile and just roamed around without finding any food.  I weighed only 19 lbs when I was rescued. But I gained my weight and health back quickly and today I am gorgeous -  my mamma says so .    

I am very sweet and very playful. I'm only 1.5 yrs old and have a lot of puppy left in me.  I do well with a daily walk and I love to chase sticks, balls and empty milk cartons.

I am housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted.  I need to live in the house with my family. However, because I am high energy, I need a family that will play with me and keep me exercised.  Although I am sweet I would prefer not to live with small children.  I am still very bouncy and  I don't want to hurt anyone with my excitement while playing.  Would you be my new human ???

Mamma says I will be adopted into an inside forever home only.  I require a fence and that my new family owns their home.  No rentals please.    References and vet checks, a veterinary check and a home visit are required. My adoption fee of $200, will be used to help other abandoned and abused dogs like me.
