Logan #17816 Lab Mix – Such a sweet puppy - Neutered - Around a year old.

Oh my goodness Logan is the funniest dog ever.  When he sees reflective lights on the wall or ceiling, he thinks it’s something and he stands on his back legs to get it.  He is just obsessed with whatever it is that is moving all over the wall.  He truly thinks it’s a ‘thing’!  He is So super funny and such a sweet dog.

Logan is about 2 years old and appears to be a golden Labrador/basset hound mix.  Logan does have a disability.  Unfortunately his front leg was broken most likely when he was a puppy.  His owners did nothing to help this little dog and it healed at an odd angle.  Although a simple splint would have helped him, his neglect is now evident.  Our vet felt that because he uses the leg, appears to not be in pain, and because it is a front leg that amputation was not in his best interest.  Another option for his forever family would be an operation to re-break the leg and set it with pins.  If that is in his future, that would be wonderful.  In the meantime, Logan uses the leg most of the time, runs like the wind, and is a perfectly happy and joyous dog.  Regardless of his situation, Logan is truly a joyous and happy dog.  He seems to appreciate the blessing of every day and lives life to it’s fullest!

Logan is a bit of a goof ball and will keep you laughing.  He is such a sweet and honest guy.  He loves to play fetch, is perfectly house broken, is getting better on the leash, is the star of the show at the dog park, is learning how to tolerate cats, and is a great and calm guy in the house.  He sleeps through the night on most nights with his foster mom and loves a regular schedule.  He is learning commands and responds so well because the wants to please, which is a great quality in a dog!

If you are looking to add a joyous soul to your life, Logan is the one for you.
