Hi my name is Butterball. I came all the way from Texas via Ruff Start Rescue, but I am heart worm positive at this time and going thru treatment. I am available as a foster-to-adopt. I am living with a bunch of other dogs at my foster mom and dad's house. Even though I am a small dog, I like to try and control some of the other dogs. It takes me awhile to adjust to new situations and people. My foster parents have a big fenced back yard where I love to roam, lots of squirrels and birds to chase. I have a tendency to wander and investigate the neighborhood when not fenced. I am crate-trained, potty-trained, love my snacks, chewie’s, have played with toys a little, and am a great snuggler, on the couch and in bed. I like to go for walks, can be a puller, very good in the car, going to the park is one of my favorite times. Talking about favorite times, meal time, Yum!!! I would do best in a home with older children, or adults only. Just think how cute my picture will look in a frame on your desk at work, or by the bed on your night stand. I want to be your forever dog.

Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
