Are you someone who values independence and the occasional cuddle? If so, we will get along splendidly. I was surrendered to an animal shelter and was on the euthanasia list due to litter box avoidance – you see, I had been declawed and the surgery left bone fragments and hyperextended tendons in my front paws. Standing in the litter box hurt my little feet!! However, Feline Rescue got me a “claw salvage surgery” that released my tendons, allowing me to walk normally and without pain. Since then, I always make sure to use the box! Nowadays, I love nothing more than napping on the couch or bed, grooming myself, and taking soft pets from those around me. I am still nervous around other cats since I can’t defend myself and would prefer to be an only cat. I can tolerate having another one as long as they respect my space and don’t try to get me to play. I do like to play, just on my own time and with humans. I’m not particularly needy and prefer to spend most of my time lying in the sun. If you have comfy furniture and are looking for an independent adult cat, please call my receptionist to schedule a meeting with me in my foster home.
