PEANUT'S needs are very simple. Give her a toy to play with and she is good for hours. Especially one that squeaks! This has to be one of the happiest little dogs at our shelter. She doesn't even know she is homeless. We have had Peanut since she was a puppy and it would be wonderful to finally find her forever family. Somewhere there is a Happy Ending for Peanut. Until then, she is happy as a lark with a squeaky toy...

Peanut came to us from the most horrible, inhumane living conditions. Yet when shown kindness and given security she blossomed and in no time at all was the happy, energetic, carefree girl we have today. Peanut has unbounded energy. If she can run somewhere rather than walk by golly she is going to run. Or if you like to jog every day this girl will be your companion....training for a marathon? This girl will be your companion. And then we expect she will have her kibble and settle in on your lap like the sweet girl we know she is. Peanut is making up for the time she lost in her previous circumstances. She is a girl and this girl just wants to have fun. And a family. Fun and a Family. That's the ticket.
Peanut is now about 5 or 6 years old but you could never guess that by her energy.

We know each of the animals entrusted to our care by name and we will be happy to tell you all about the personality and little quirks that make each animal so loved. Our adoption fee for a dog is $100 and that covers all shots and vetting and spay/neuter. Our animals are fully vetted before we send them off to their new family.
