Catch the Dog needs a home
Hello, this is our beloved foster dog "Catch". He is a very good boy. He is great with people, children and other animals. I own a miniature pincher named Doobie. He and Catch get along great. Catch has a lot of energy so he needs his daily walks if you want a relaxed house dog. He is indoor outdoor. He goes potty outside. Catch is great on a leash and listens to commands. Sit and stay. He loves kisses and loves to be pet and hugged. He is a lover boy for sure. Catch is great with kids, however unless he gets professional training, I prefer he be adopted by people with a no kids household. Only because when I first fostered Catch, he was possessive with his ball and food. Now I can pet him while he eats. I can take his dish while he is eating I can take his ball from him (even though he is stingy and loves to play keep away with it). However, if the people who adopt him are responsible and give him adequate training, attention and love then I see major potential for "recovery" when it comes to his possessive behavior. He is good with other dogs, he never tries to approach other dogs when we walk. He will sit and stay and let them walk right by. He did not like my cats at first and would try to chase them, now he will sit and stay when he sees a kitty. He is not dog aggressive, but he likes to be the dominant dog when other dogs try to dominate. Except for my min pin, Catch allows my little dog to be the alpha which is why we get along so well. He is not a chewer, not a digger. He can swim, but not much of a water dog. He loves walking, running, playing. He LOVES his baseball. He tears his tennis balls apart if you don't pay attention. He has pet health insurance. Contact [email protected]
