Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Boston the Cat needs a home

Location:  Winchendon Shelter.  Open hours are Thursday, 6-8pm and Sunday, 11-1pm.

Boston is a very large and friendly male cat, age unknown.  He was left in a carrier at Westford Animal Hospital.  He has been in a foster home lately and the fosterer wrote that "Boston is a male cat who is very lovable on his own terms. He is a bit nervous in new situations. Once he warms up to you he likes to be pet and brushed. Just don't rub his belly he doesn't like that. He likes to jump on your lap and let's you pet him. Don't forget treats, he loves his treats throughout the day. He also loves turkey and chicken. He has been spoiled. He is better in a quiet setting without other pets. He is very lovable but does not play well with cats and definitely no dogs. He requires a thyroid pill twice a day and a b-12 shot monthly . He has a benign tumor on his thyroid. This is why he is on thyroid medicine. He will live a wonderful life as long as his thyroid is controlled."

This cat is part of our Take A Chance On Me Program.  This means the cat would go to the right home for FREE.  Maybe that's your home?  Check out our website (ahimsahaven.org) for more details.

As always, our cats are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
